He is PhD in Human Motricity in the specialty Dance from the Faculty of Human Motricity of the University of Lisbon, Portugal. Member of the expanded board of ANDA (2019-2025). Coordinator of the Nucleo of Folklore and Popular Cultures at UFPel. Co-leader and Researcher of the research group “Art and aesthetics in education” (FURB/CNPQ). Editor-in-chief of the Brazilian Journal of Dance Studies, Journal of the Postgraduate Program in Arts at UFPel “Paralelo 31” and in the Publisher ANDA.

Is a dance and theater artist. Professor at the Department of Body Art (DAC), teaching undergraduate courses in Dance and Theatrical Direction and postgraduate courses in Dance (PPGDan) and Performing Arts (PPGAC) at UFRJ, in the Postgraduate course in Laban/Bartenieff at Faculdade Angel Vianna (FAV) and in Teaching Classical Dance at Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro (TM/ RJ). PhD in Arts (UNICAMP) and Movement Analyst (CMA). Editor-in-chief of the Brazilian Journal of Dance Studies and Publisher ANDA.

Lucas Valentim Rocha

Is a body arts artist, professor of undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the UFBA School of Dance. He is PhD from the Postgraduate Program in Performing Arts/UFBA (2016-2019). Master’s in dance from the Postgraduate Program in Dance/UFBA (2012-2013). Graduated in Dance/UFBA (2007-2011). Co-leader of the PORRA Research Group: Ways of (Re)Knowing Yourself in Dance. Editor of Publisher ANDA and coordinator of the Thematic Committee Dances, Dissidences and Insurgencies Gender, Disability and other Intersectionalities.
